Roommate

We have a roommate named Marilyn. Mar's husband Chris graduated from WWU in March and got a job right away, but in Mountlake Terrace. It was the job he really wanted, so of course, he took it. The problem was that Marilyn still had two quarters of school left. Chris considered commuting from Bellingham (yuck!). We offered for Marilyn to move in with us until she finishes school in December.

So, Mar lives with us, and Chris lives in their new apartment in Mountlake Terrace. Often, they only see each other on weekends (either at our house, or if Mar can get the weekend off, at their apartment).

Marilyn is a wonderful addition to our household. She and Sophia instantly bonded over YouTube videos of babies laughing and cats playing. Mar and Ernie like to play video games together. And Marilyn and I just like to hang out.
