Costume Parties Are Fun

A friend of mine recently turned thirty, and to celebrate, had a super-hero/action-figure costume party. All attendees were asked to arrive in costume. I decided to dress up as Bubbles, one of the three Powerpuff Girls (used to be on Cartoon Network). They are my kind of super-heroes, saving the world before bedtime. (In case you don’t know, I greatly value my sleep. Ernie says it’s my favorite past time.) My mom was nice enough to sew a costume for me – thanks Mom! Ernie begrudgingly dressed up as a Guitar Hero. He wore his newly-acquired Foo Fighters concert t-shirt, wrapped a bandanna around his forehead, and strapped our wireless Guitar Hero guitar to his back. We had a good time at the party. With drinks, food, a pinata, Rock Band, and Karaoke - who wouldn't have a good time?!
