On the Monday following Christmas, Patty invited her sisters and their families over for a potluck dinner. We ate ham, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, and rolls. After dinner came two choices for dessert, cake and banana pudding. We were glad to finally meet Ernie’s cousin’s girlfriend and their daughter. Arianna is 19 months old and we had yet to meet her! She is a doll and was curious about everything.
We enjoyed our time together with Ernie’s family. However, we were sad to see our Christmas celebrations end. I enjoyed five days off from work and was sad to see my mini-vacation come to an end as well. I was though, ready for a break from ham.
